Self-awareness
Get on the Balcony.
See what happened before you decide what it means—or what you need to do about it.
This is where Becoming Her stops being something you agree with and becomes something you can try. Pick the skill you need today, use the tool, collect some evidence, and keep moving.
Nothing you type into these practice fields is submitted anywhere.
Each big story button goes to the whole Substack series/tag. Individual stories only show up when one specific lesson really needs the example.

Self-awareness
See what happened before you decide what it means—or what you need to do about it.

Capacity
Tell the truth about what this yes will cost before you spend yourself on it.

Self-trust
Make a promise real life can hold, plan for the hard day, and let returning count as evidence.
Love can be real. Joy can be real. And a pattern can be real at the same time. Use Maya’s story to notice how you show up when somebody matters to you.
Do not solve it yet. Get accurate. The assignment is observation, not prosecution.

Balcony rule:
Notice yourself. Don’t stalk yourself. 😭💜
Behavior is the last stop, not the first. Add the consequence so you can see what your usual move actually produces.
Clock time is not capacity. Two things can take the same two hours and cost completely different amounts of you.
Capable asks: Can I do this?
Capacity asks: What will it cost me to do this—and who will I be while I’m doing it?
You do not have to prove that you are incapable before support becomes legitimate.
Self-trust is not proving that you will never miss. It is learning that when real life interrupts the plan, you can notice, learn, adjust, and return.

Not perfect.
Dependable. 💜
Look at what happened without praise or punishment. Broken promises can become data instead of a verdict.
This is not a relationship scorecard. It is a way to notice what closeness means to you, how you naturally give, what you receive, and what roles can quietly form when you care about somebody.

Track the migration without deciding anybody is the villain.
Sometimes “we” happens through ordinary life before anybody formally announces it. That makes the feeling real. It does not make every assumption explicit.
No more card-by-card scavenger hunt. These links take you to the full conversation so the website can stay the map and Substack can stay the library.
The Accountability Circle is where women practice honest observation, workable promises, recovery, and return together.
