Panel 1: After work, Maven calls: “How’s your evening class going?”
Panel 2: Max: “Good. I’m putting a few things together.”
Panel 3: Maven: “Can I see it when you’re done?” Max’s screen shows a digital media project marked Draft — Not submitted. Her designs include “Community Looks Different Here” and “Different Together.”
Panel 4: Max: “Yeah. Just figuring out which direction to take.”
Panel 5: After the call, Max looks at drafts titled “Community in Focus” and “Same Places New Stories.” She thinks: “What if I finish it and it’s not that good?”
Panel 6: Max thinks: “‘I’m working on it’ sounded better than ‘I’m scared to finish it.’”
Closing question: What part of the story gets left out when you say you’re fine?
