Panel 1: At Corner Press, Max asks her supervisor: “Could I handle a small design job—from the brief through revisions?”
Panel 2: Supervisor: “Possibly. One event flyer. The client already has the copy and logo.” The brief for Riverton Community Market lists final copy and a high-resolution logo as client-provided.
Panel 3: Max: “Would I do it during my paid shifts?” Supervisor: “Yes. Same hourly rate. I can set aside three hours for the first draft.”
Panel 4: Supervisor: “First proof Friday. I review it before the client sees it. If you need more time, tell me before you run over.” She points to Friday on the job schedule.
Panel 5: Max records: One flyer and client revisions; paid shift time and same rate; first draft 3 hours; proof Friday; supervisor review first.
Panel 6: Max: “Can I check my shifts and get back to you tomorrow?” Supervisor: “Yes. Bring me a time plan.”
