Built to know very little about the girl using it.

A young visitor should be able to read, choose, download, and leave without telling Becoming Her Alliance who she is or what is happening in her private life.

What we do not collect through Missy’s Room

  • Journal writing, private reflections, or personal relationship details
  • Photos, voice recordings, videos, or files from a young visitor
  • Public posts, comments, messages, or profiles

We also have not added:

  • Advertising pixels or behavioral advertising
  • Third-party analytics scripts inside Missy’s Room
  • Embedded social-media feeds

  • A child-facing shopping or checkout flow
Technical information

What may still happen when any website loads.

Hosting + security logs

The hosting and network systems used to deliver and protect the site may process ordinary technical request information such as an IP address, browser/device details, the page requested, timestamps, and security logs.

BHA does not use Missy’s Room to turn that technical information into a behavioral profile of a young visitor.

Interactive buttons stay in the browser

The preset “tap, choose, reveal” tools are implemented locally in the page. Missy’s Room does not send those choices to BHA, store them in a user profile, or attach them to a child account.

The site is configured to block page forms from submitting data and to block the Missy section from making background network connections to third-party services.

Downloads + journals

What a girl writes after downloading a page is not visible to BHA.

Missy’s Room provides printable PDFs. The writing happens offline—on paper or on the device where the file was opened. Becoming Her Alliance cannot see what a young person writes on a downloaded page unless she or an adult independently chooses to share it outside this website.

Privacy is not a rule to keep unsafe situations secret.

A young person gets to have ordinary private thoughts and journal writing. If she or someone else may be unsafe, involving a trusted adult or appropriate professional matters more than keeping something secret.

Some safety resources leave this website.

If a visitor chooses an outside safety resource, that site has its own privacy practices. Missy’s Room uses a no-referrer policy so the destination is not told which Missy page sent the visitor.
