Panel 1: Mom is at the table; Dad is on speakerphone. Maven: “I’m planning to work after I finish my degree. Not go straight to grad school.”
Panel 2: Dad: “I thought counseling was the plan.” Maven: “It still is. I’m changing the timing.”
Panel 3: Mom: “What kind of work would you look for?” Maven: “Paid roles I qualify for with my degree. I need to check the requirements.”
Panel 4: Maven: “I want the full costs and funding terms before I commit to a program.” Her working plan says: Next spring, program and funding review. The screen lists tuition and fees, financial aid, grants and scholarships, loan terms, program length and admission requirements.
Panel 5: Dad: “How will you keep ‘later’ from becoming ‘never’?” Maven: “I’ll review programs and funding next spring, before graduation.”
Panel 6: Maven: “I still want to be a counselor. I’m choosing when to take that next step.” She records next spring’s review.
