Panel 1: A few weeks later, Max and Maven sit outdoors with their journals and the flyer. Max: “So. What actually happened?”

Panel 2: Maven: “Two paychecks. The car plan is working. I’m tracking what I can actually save.”

Panel 3: Max holds the flyer: “The flyer was approved Wednesday. I needed help with the export. Now I know what to practice.”

Panel 4: Maven: “August? We can check the money, the workload, and what comes next.” Max: “August works.” Their summer check-in lists savings, workload and next step.

Panel 5: Max puts her journal away: “And the rest of our lives?” Maven: “Ask me again in August.”

Panel 6: They walk together. Maven reaches for Max’s fries: “Right now, I want fries.” Max: “These are my fries.”
